ABA HOUSE This art studio is located in Nungua, a fishing village in a suburb of Accra. It is close to the airport and Accra central and can be reached on a major roadway that ends at the Togo border.
In 2010, Greenie spent two weeks at Aba House learning about the Art of Africa. As a result of this experience, she was able to connect Charles Yarfoh (founder of Tuskegee) with Aba (founder of Aba House).
In July of 2011, students from Tuskegee visited tAba House and learned from the fishing village children how to make paper. The plan is for Tuskegee students to create paper products that will eventually be sold to pay for school supplies and school fees.
Take a look at Greenie's Blog from this past summer to learn about her experiences.
